BACKGROUND INFORMATION
When did you start bodybuilding, and where?
I started Bodybuilding about 5 years ago when I got out of basic training in the military in Chicago, IL. I had a lot of free time when not working on base so I spent it in the gym, at the time I was 160lbs and was tired of being smaller than every one else. Lifting became my way of dealing with stress and aggression, I wanted to be the biggest guy in the gym no questions asked. About 3 years ago I met Aaron Baker and something he said to me has stuck with me every since "The thing about life is it has room for many, many dreams! So don't stop seeking!"
Explain your training style and philosophy.
My philosophy is simple, Train Hard or Go Home! Of course nutrition and training go hand and hand but to me nutrition is part of training.  My training style is very high intensity, 6-8 sets per lift, 20-32 sets overall per muscle group worked that day depending on how big the muscle group is. I also pyramid all my sets so I am not just bulking I am building lean solid muscle mass, and it keeps my muscles in shock doing both high and low reps.
Favorite body part to train?
Legs- because I love the way they look when they are pumped up and it is what will make you stand out from the rest. I believe legs take the most discipline to train.
Least favorite?
Abs, to me it interrupts my other workouts if my abs are sore because you use your core muscles on almost every lift.
What supplements do you take?.
Multi-vitamins, Cell-tech, RTD, Pure protein, Tribulus, DHEA, Glutamine, BCAA, Vitamin E.
What is your precontest diet like?
2-3 grams of protein per pound of lean muscle mass, 200-300 grams of carbs which I slowly lower as I get closer to the competition, and lots of green vegetables.
What is the hardest part of precontest?
The cutting carbs and the cardio, cardio to me is boring!
What is the first thing you want to eat after a show?
Anything in sight! Pizza, ice cream, peanut butter!
How do you deal with it?
I just do it.......Everyone wants to achieve their goals and everyone wants results now, but little understand the time and effort it takes to truly achieve their goals. Only a few have what it takes to do bodybuilding and only the dedicated will do what it takes more than once!
Best nutrition tip?
Don't follow the diet fads.......Find what works for you to achieve the results you want.
Do you have a trainer or coach?
Yes
Who do you admire in the bodybuilding world?
Jay Cutler, Dexter Jackson, Marcus Ruhl, Toney Freeman, Gustavo Badell, Ronnie Coleman, those are just some.
What would you like to achieve in bodybuilding long-term?
PRO!
