BACKGROUND INFORMATION |
When did you start bodybuilding, and where? |
I started bodybuilding in Sitka, Alaska when I was 18 years of age. I was working out in a small local gym and met a competitor...I asked him how I could get started, and what advice he could give a 6 foot 6 165lb kid. He stated "No way kid, your too tall and lanky" needless to say it really set me off! I started right away lifting. I trained to the death and as heavy as I could and read every book by Arnold Schwarzeneggar I could find.

Explain your training style and philosophy. |
My philosophy is simple, train smart, eat right for your body and DO NOT STRESS. I train to failure and exhaustion on every workout. It's my job, I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I believe in the High intensity style from Mike Mentzer, I have been using it and adapting it for my results...and for anyone who doesn't believe it works, need I remind you that I am six foot six? 235lbs on stage? and I'm just getting started! I understand nutrition and what it does to the body..the tricky part is to
time the body..still working on that! |
Favorite body part to train? |
Biceps, the pump and vascularity is mindblowing and addictive!
|
Least favorite? |
Calves, can't seem to find them, I think I was mugged as a kid and somebody took them! ;)

|
What is the hardest part of precontest? |
BORING, drives me up the friggen wall!
|

How do you deal with it? |
Hmmm.. I'll keep this one short, I don't DEAL with it, I DO IT because it has to be done.."Everybody wants to be a bodybuilder, but no one wants to do the work!" that plays in my head over and over when I feel like I don't want to..Thanks Ronnie.
